speculate on googles reasoning

google has a logo change today on the fourth of july


why would they go to so much trouble to NOT have something american on the fourth of july and to specifically have something from our country of Canada...notice the flags at one end of the bridge?

any guesses

 

cause the americans are all outside for the holiday and not on the internet to notice.. yw.

 

For Canada Day it was a special logo, but only for Canadian IPs.

Is it possible that you aren't using an American IP address?

Yeah, I think they have a bunch of them... It's been different every time I used it today.

As far as the bridge goes, and the flags? Who knows.... "You can cross but you can't come back" (for the Americans) "you can't get there from here" (for the Canadians)

The google I saw was red white and blue and said "this land is made for you and me".

 

The American google has American page, the Canadian one has the 111th anniversary of the worlds longest covered bridge, which was inaugurated in Canada 111 years ago today.

 

lol...i guess i should have known they can change logos for different countries....

even if i type in .com i get switched to .ca with most big sites....sometimes they give a choice and you gotta pick a country

yeah..i noticed that too so then i tried through anonymouse and it just gives a regular google page with that one
