Songs For Situations Game

Ok, new game. First person names the situation, then the next person names the song that best fits that situation. Then they name a new situation, and so on.

eg.

Situation: Flying
Song: Learning to Fly - Pink Floyd, or Foo Fighters if you're gay.

Ok, let's go...

Situation = Tying a cop to a chair, cutting his ear off and dousing him in petrol....

 

first thing that comes into me head is pigs ear but a musical title would be pigs - pink floyd ........am i playing this rightly

Because let's face it, if you're having your ear cut off, MMM blasting away is only gonna make that pain far worse! "Stuck In The Middle With You" obviously sprang to mind, but that would have the cop thinking you were some pussy ass copycat. Which he might enjoy. Probably not, but still!

Next Situation: You're out of your head on LSD, what do you play to convince yourself that everything you see is real?

I might be playing it wrong too - Maybe stuck in the middle was the right answer, and we're supposed to give another situation where a song was the song...For instance....

Situation: You and 6 friends are walking down the street in black suits and ties.

I like the premise of your game!

I know he wasn't leaving me with a situation on purpose but i'll pretend he left me with

"going to have a doobie"

And I'll say that a good song would be "Needle in the Hay" by Elliot Smith - I's not about taoking or anything but Im high and grooving to it right now - Kinda depressing but you can really sink into it if you really listen...

You're a teacher and want to give your students a song to dissect that has some realy meaning in it... ( My senior year my english teacher did this with Beatles "Look at all the Lonely People" and it was AWESOME! ~ Students wrote pages and pages undressing this song)

 

Um.. that song is called Eleanor Rigby.

And I'd pick "Mmmbop" just cos no one knows the lyrics cos its hilarious.
