just trying to remeber the name of a pill i took. it was at hospital, and was given to me as a painkiller. it was really stron, only took one, was white, round, small but kinda thick. i think it started with 'a' and i got completly knocked out after like half an hour. was really drowsy and couldnt walk properly.
im just trying to remember what it is called

did it have a funny style letter "A" stamped on the pill?...could of been an abotts lab "vicoprofren" pain killer, they come in 7.5/200's and i doubt one would kock you out even with a 0 tolerance level, maybe give ya a nice nod or help ya sleep if you were lying down..

well u said it had a funky looking A on it and it was given to u at the hospital. I would guess u got a nice, very strong, Hydromorphone pill! (AKA Dilaudid)

right, one pill to knock you out would be something like hydromorphine, oxy 80, or fentanyl. So if it was an opiate the strongest candidate is hydromorphine. Sometimes they give you a "cocktail" before induction of anesthetic with iv or gas, that would more sensibly be a benzodiazepam or a barbirtuate.

If a hospital gave you a one time thing and it was a pill you got a 80% chance it was hydromorphine, Hospitals generally save the oxies for outbound patients and more give fetanyl to chronic pain patients.

oh how i yearn for a fetanyl patch to chew on...

last time I was in the hospital for acute pain I was on oxys and IV fentanyl. they gave me the morphine to take home.

    Yes i'm sorry i did mean hydromorphone(dilaudid)

And i'm beginning to think that different hospitals operate differently in these matters, i know my local hospital will never give morphine to take home (only for terminal patients)

And when i was in for my car wreck they wouldn't tell me what they had me on because of my history, but i had a button and if i touched it i would go to sleep..so i'm going to assume fentanyl IV? I was too fucked up the whole time to comprehend what ever happend.

They sent me home with the patches a limited supply of roxicet and shitty garbage horse asperines that give you a headache lol.
