These are from Thanksgiving Day...you can see my hair a bit better when the pics are taken by a professional with a badass camera.
You seem like you have a great and happy family, for that I envy you. How long have been going natural since you got all the wax out?
Hmmmm, dunno...I stopped waxing my dreads @ 7 weeks. But then there was a removal process. I think all of the wax was out around 12 weeks or so and I am about 6mo in You can see it all here.
Trinity (my 3yr old) just told me she wants to wait until she's bigger. My husband has a widows peak and because his father and brother are bald & balding he's afraid to let his hair grow out and do anything with it. I think he's gonna go for that distinguished, "I know I am going bald so I'll keep it short Bruce Willis type deal." LOL He wanted to grow his hair out a couple years ago but wouldn't for fear of the mullet - you know - business up front, party n the back ROFLMAO He was diggin the beardlocks I showed him on another forum though, so who knows.
Your family is beautiful! I had to laugh at the mullet comment, my DH is from the US South and we often joke about it....but I have seen pics of dready mullets and dready balding guys and to honest I think the dreads look better than anything else!
Beautiful! I've got a Trinity in my extended family and I looove the name Journey. If only I didn't think of the band.
