Social/Relationship Question for "hippies"...

OK, here goes..

I have found in my travels that I can get along with most anyone...this includes most all social groups. I have, however, found that I am attracted and share more similar views with the "hippie" culture. It tends to be that hippies keep to themselves, not that they are unfriendly to those outside of their group or xenophobic or anything, just that they are secluded almost. It is difficult for us to completely exclude the notion of these existing social groups and unfortunately for a guy like me (short hair and in the army...) it seems like looks and a poor decision lead to hasty judgment on most people's part. Question is:

Do women typically date exclusively within the Hippie social group or will they ever venture out and be open-minded as claimed???

hmmm...that's interesting. i find just the opposite, that they're scattered around and often living somewhat isolated lives. maybe that's because i'm older though. it wasn't that way when i was younger.

and no, i'm not interested in dating guys who have no clue who i am and don't share my values. been there, done that...never again.
