All of you parents all seem so wonderful and talk with such love and care and adoration of your children. It makes me so broody... makes me really want a little child to love and look after. Its odd because i never wanted a child because im petrified of treating it wrong but still ..... you all make me want to be a Mummy so bad
I get like that too I've always wanted children, of course there are no certanties about the whole thing. But I'll just have to keep learning, give it a shot and set aside money for theraphy
I started getting "baby lust" at about 18. However, logically I knew if I waited until I was older, partnered and we both had a college education we would struggle a lot less in our lives (I am not dissing any of the young moms, many of whom I really love, just telling what my own life plan was) and we were right. A two parent family, both parents with college educations made for a lot less struggle. Even with that, the first few years with babies were rough (I did get pregnant right out of college in the middle of my Master's) I can't imagine how hard it would have been if we had been even less prepared. You can channel that baby lust into doing child care until you have some more education and a responsible partner. That is just my opinion, and not an indictment of anyone else's choices. It worked for Bear and I. People with different lives do really well too. Good luck.
hehe no fear i have no plans to have a child. Im in University at the moment. Only in my first year. i have 3 years left yet
aww flessy your going to be a great mommy someday...the fact that you have those urges to have your own child is a good sign! Honestly though as a young mom I have to admit I wish I waited but I believe that I was given my beautiful boys for a reason. That alone drives me to try my hardest! Somedays are rough but they always do something cute to make everything worth it. I think it goes the same for mothers to wait to have kids too(my moms input, lol).
