....complete wastes of time? It has been hinted , wait no, outright said, that our "person above you threads are wastes of time"...and an absolutely correct diagnosis IMHO, but so what? Now, obviously any thread that gets a 1000 posts is a bandwidth/storage drain and I see no reason that the oldest 950-975 posts should NOT be deleted. I had wondered how long the linking pictures in them poster above you threads was gonna last, before the bandwidth utilization got addressed....Kudos. But hunting for them photos was fun and entertaining, so I will miss some of them threads. Everyone knows the most active posts get locked. Look at the Forums stats page some day...I think one thread is open still. Not complaining, just noticing. Well I didnt really have a point I wanted to argue, I just wanted to get my 10 bucks worth I guess.
Well damn, if all of the useless crap is removed from these forums, I'll have no reason to visit. Also, the poster above me is actually a flying squirrel who can type, but has to use a translator to post here because he only speaks German. Further, I agree that only the older parts of these lengthy threads need to be deleted. And lastly, I'm dropping an open jar of rancid pickles...

I PM'd the Crappie about it and he said just restart them. Closed because they get so long I guess, but that's what he said.
I wonder how colenzo's forums would like all the poster above you threads...I dont really care where I does em...problem is there is only like 8 regular posters there...ok maybe 16, I dunno........ Didnt matt_in_Vegas and EconEmouse start a forums just for games..hmmmmmmm I shall have track that down....
oh.....so they havent a problem with em...just the length.....boy DSK will be upset he hasnt anything to be pissed about...HAHAHAHA
i like them occasionally, but they are a waste of time... then again, so are most things people on the forums do... what it really comes down to though is they are the ones who are missing out on life and paying for it... and i guess skip and his space are too.....
Why not make a personal forum for "The person above you..." threads only? You come up with some pretty good ideas, I'm sure it'd be just as active as ever.
