Hello all... Have any of you heard the crap about LSD going around? Over 90% of people I talk to about LSD do not have the proper information about it at all. They seem to think it is extremely unsafe and as dirty as many street drugs. They also say it makes you go insane, makes your brain bleed, can be a a low dose to have a less-long lasting time, think it's all just a dirty lab chemical like meth and they also say that LSD can be put on marijuana for a small hallucinogenic effect... It hurts my head ever time I hear one of these bogus comments! What do you guys think?

 

the other day someone told me that in some proffesional medical book it says that anyone whos done lsd more than 6 times is considered legally insane...they believed it too

their jaw dropped when I told them I lost count of how many times ive taken acid a few months ago...guess im straight up nuts

Oh no, i know the quote is true...I'm saying he beleived what the quote said...I didnt believe that proffesional medical document would say that so i googled it and sure enough...

I just thought it was rediculous that he legitimately believed what the book said...but then again, if youve never tried the drug, its only natural to believe an official document...

 

you also have to take into account that the label "insane" is subjective, personally I *know* that LSD if anything has tripped me into a state of sanity most people never realize exists.

 

i think that the people who think like that are brain dead monkeys who are very happy to believe the government fueled propaganda because they like paying their taxes!

there are lots of people out there who would be happy to tell you that LSD is a good thing - there is probably no-one out there who would tell you that heroin is a good thing - i think that says it all.

 

That isn't the misinformation I'm most worried about. Yes, that stuff is ridiculous, but I think what's much worse are people on these forums who think they understand "what LSD is" and what it can and cannot do, either spreading unnecessary fear or causing people to lose respect for the extremely powerful drug when they shouldn't, depending on the comment/topic.

 

And by the way, LSD can make you insane... two hits of LSD can completely alter the course of one's life, for the positive or negative... don't doubt it. And, again, there IS some truth that a lower dose doesn't last as long. Half a tab doesn't last as long as a ten strip man.

 

The rumor that anyone who has tried LSD more then well on this thread its 6 times is considered legally insane. It Is a insane uraban legend that is about all. I have never ever read that in any mental health book ,class, drug book text book, or heard that from any drug counsoler. I have even asked a few qualified psychciatrist and they say that they have never heard that and its probably just a rumor that was statred to scare people away from doing LSD. What is true is LSD can be a very dangerous drug. When not taken properly or buy people who are not mentally stable. I have seen a few people in my 20 years flip out and wind up in the ER. Mental hospitals or in Jail from having a bad trip. Its not a a drug to be taken lightly buy any means and. people who become damaged mentally from LSD and other hallucinogens usally have a prexisting mental disorder to begin with. Sure tripping can make one who is already mentally ill go over the top.

also 3xi your post makes no sence at all to me, First off a 14 year old kid or a person who is not mentally stable should not listen to there parents and just go out and trip Balls and eat LSD like M&M's and all will be fine because its all a lie because we in America are Brain Washed ? I just don't understand what are you trying to say ? If any thing the most other parts of the world are the ones brain washed, look at radical Islam in the middle east and there crazy Ideology. How about the people who live under dictator ships. or in communist states such as China or North Korea. You're right in the respect that it is probably a rumor to scare people, but your dead wrong on the rest of this statement. As I stated above, I know it's a bunch of bullshit, but I myself have seen this nonsense in print in a text I had for a Psych class, it is in print, sure it's a complete fallacy, but it is in print.....I wish I still had the text or could remember the name of it, I would offer proof.....but if you don't believe me ask yourself, why would I lie about that?

Bro I could show you that also, How many is it I have read 5 hits 10 hits all the way up to 100, if that were the case and people who took over whatever number were considered legally insane. They would be able to get Social security beasue insane people can get benafits from the goveremnt. The offices and other goverment benafits would be streaming with people asking for mental health benefits, It justnot true. I never seen or read it in any text book at all. jsut another stupid thing that people think is true, Its amazing the stuff I have heard over the years. also I just llooke it up on the net,you would not belive how many people are saying different things. some say 7 some say 70 others are saying 4, so what is the real number. Most of the sights I just looked at also say its bull and some of the other sight like this one peole are giving out all types of numbers. Its just a rumor passed down from one to another. anyways it would not go buy Tabs eather it would have to go buy the amount of the drug taken. sence Tabs have a different amount on them you can not tell. That should be the first sign right there that its bull. no doctor would go buy tabs or hits to consider who is insane they would go buy a number of micrograms or milligrams taken.

Drug addicts get social security all the time. They would use this as another exuse to get it if it were true. I can't belive some of you kids really belive all the shit you hear out there. I will have to post some links to show you its bull.

Yes you have drug induced psychosis. its not from taking 7 hits of LSd, Drug induced psychois is from years of drug or alchool abuse, other terms are wet drain, addicts who abuse stimulants like Crack Cocaine or Meth for long periods usally get it. Its not from taking 7 hits of Lsd or is it 10 or 20 I wonder. maybe 50, so many reports out there now. Does you doc right on your social security report patient took 7 hits of LSd and is legaly insane or what. And do you still take drugs or what !!!

 

Shocbomb, I was labled as being legally insane BEFORE I went on my adventures with LSD and the other psychedelic drugs. Neither me nor rob are claiming to believe this lie, we are claiming to have READ the lie in text form in other sources than the internet. If anything, LSD and the rainbow family helped me deal with my mental issues

i'm sure one hit and 10 hits metabolize at the same rate, but the effects can't be nearly as noticeable say around hour 8.

also, i wouldn't recommend a 14 year old eat acid like candy either, but i did and had some of the greatest trips of my life. tripping is fanfuckingtastic when you don't have a worry in the world.

 

I never said that I believed it, because I don't, my main argument was that it is commonly believed to be a fact, even though it's not. Also I have never been an alcoholic, crack head, meth head, junkie, or any of the other litany of drug addictions. I do not believe i'm insane in the least, i'm quite educated and rational, but I do have a bad problem with anxiety/panic disorder that is unrelated to any drug abuse (lifelong problem)........none of that is relevant however, I am officially on social security because of prolonged and excessive LSD use, this is in my official disability description.....I don't agree with it, but hell if that's what they want to think, and they want to give me free money, who am I to argue? Again I do not subscribe to this theory, and I know it is a myth, however alot of other people have seen this myth in print, and they do take it as fact....that is what i'm trying to point out.
