So i have noticed i'm different

Today i have realized that i am a hell of alot different from the rest of the girls at my school.

Likes slow dancing during the quiet song
Like slow dancing during the fast, loud songs

Likes going to a nice restaurant
Likes going to the gas station buying some energy drinks and walking around

Likes watching the sunset while being held
Likes watching the sunrise after being awake all night

Likes Silver + Gold
Likes copper + aluminum

Likes new clothing as gifts
Likes a pair of ratted old jeans

Wants to be proposed to romantically
Wouldn’t care if you were proposed to in Paris or on a four-wheeler

Getting Teddy Bears for valentines day
Getting a pocket knife that says "old timer" on it for v day




I am alot more different than I thought I was, and proud as hell for it

 

Wicked, if someone sais they like something i always claim to hate it lol, for fun.

 

Most people in touch with themselves find they don't fit within the norm.

Dandelions + grass are much preferable to grass... I don't see the obsession with having green "carpet"...

There's not much of a difference as far as I can see. Everyone want to be unique. Doesnt make you better or worse. You just have different tastes concerning specific subjects. Its cool.

i was different than most in HS...i didn't change. still won over most people and was pretty close with the majority of my class

Not so specific, but "normal" is whatever is commonly accepted, a loose definition individually but specific across millions of people.

Anything "outside the norm" is basically anything that isn't socially acceptable.

"normal" is driving a car, "normal" is listening to music, "normal" is working to make money... etc etc.

Normal is whatever seems essential to daily life... because in fact, nothing is essential to daily life other than those functions which keep you alive.

Normal is a set of wants that are socially accepted as needs... in that regard, many of us on here are in fact quite normal

the sparkle in them just, i don't know, they fill with rage. rage because the diamond was once a beautiful stone, insanely beautiful. Now, everyone's seen it and everyone has one and it's too common. I would much rather have a tiger's eye because for one, they are beautiful stones, two, the stone means protection and success ,and three, I have this connection to Tiger's eyes. Ever seen i was little my mom has always had some in her room and would give me one to play with (I was a weird child, i played with the bolts you would find in your garage and the rocks in your backyard, wasn't much a fan for dolls really).
