that i was so upset by getting a ticket etc etc for flicking a cop off that they diagnosed me with ..er...acute stress disorder i think which'll help my lawsuit tremendously, not to mention i'll prolly get pills. haha. yay. so ...they also at first gave me another diagnosis, oppositional defiance(ant?) disorder, or someshit, but dropped it because i only defy stupid authority (im not really an asshole to my dad, nice teachers, etc.) they also reminded me i'm bipolar NOS.
"The mortality rate for persons with untreated bipolar illness is higher than those for most types of heart disease and many types of cancer." (Carroll Consulting, 2002) haha "Bipolar children are at higher risk for suicide, substance abuse, violence, and academic failure." (Carroll Consulting, 2004) haha yep
haha will do the ones they've been giving me for my bipolarness suck, antipsychotics...when mixed with pills i usually take (methadone etc) make me sick
Try to get some benzo's. Tell them you're really stressed out, and it keeps you up all night. I like Klonopin.
i didnt get pills when my therapist told me i had anxiety problems... of course, i couldnt afford them either. .. i'm jealous of ed.
Lots of therapists can't prescribe some types or any types medicines. And you should get some health care sista. Then you'll be able to get some pills. Or if you don't wont pills, you could try exercising and getting a little more sun. Luck.
aaahhaha yeah man i really want some benzos, i'm hoping that's what they'll give me....i'll see tomorrow
thanks but I'm fine now. I took up meditation, yoga/qigong and moved home (post traumatic stress was a big part of it). I get health insurance in November from work And I start my exercise plan next week. By August, I'll be super fit! (i hope.)
I'm glad things are working out for ya. If you need any help with your exercise plan, I've been acting as a sports trainer for a few friends the past couple years. If I had a degree I could be making 40k off of it, but since I'm studying law, I'm doing it for free. Glad you're taking care of yourself. ^-^
my exercise plan: go to the rec center at school at least every other day all summer. (free treadmills and ski machines and such). i'm just looking into getting my legs and tummy in better shape. i work out my arms at work reorganizing the cooler all the time. but if you want to tell me how many crunchs i need to do a day to get a toned stomach (from an average not overweight stomach), i'd be grateful.
In my opinion, running is much better then a treadmill. You don't have a set path of motion, so the exercise is cleaner. I don't blame you for not wanting to go out in the heat though. I run in an inside track. And you're not really going to get any spot reduction in your abs by doing crunches. What you'll get by crunches is more muscle definition, but if you have a little fat in the way, it's not going to get rid of the fat, just tone the muscle. Not saying you've got a belly or anything, just saying spot reduction doesn't work. So to tone yourself more, arobics is key to losing body fat. Doing crunches all day can't make your stomach really toned, because they don't burn any stomach fat. Crunches are great though. I do them more then any other exercise. One thing is, don't focus on number too much, focus more on doing them in a fashion in which it's harder to do. Doing more then a et of 50 isn't going to do much for you. And more then 5 sets won't do much for you. My advice is to do crunches with your legs at an incline. like up in a chair. do 15-30 normal crunches, and don't extend much further then halfway. Then do crunches to the sides while still in an incline. *touch elbow to hip* do each side 15 to 30 times. Then do the normal inclined crunches again 15-30 times. Do this as many times a day as you want. Technique is more important then repetitions. But if you can do that twice a day it'd be great for your abs. Hope that helps. Luck with the program.
