I'll just give you guys a quick background on me and then I was hoping someone could help me out. About 7 years ago I partied alot snorted anything and everything and eventually started shooting heroin and cocaine. I got myself together totally turned my life around and now am basically drug free. I had a back surgery and I get Opanas and oxycodone 15's. I take them as prescribed but usually at night I crush them up together and snort a few....My problem after even doing this for barely a week my nose is so blocked. This used to be a problem I encountered back in the day which ultimately is what led me to shoot heroin. Not going there this time but I was wondering if there is any remedies that you guys know? Very Frustrating!!
If you feel the need to snort pills and are getting them from a doctor, I suggest you be up front and honest with your doctor and tell him/her that you're not getting the relief that you need. I've had to bounce around between a hand full of doctors before I found one that was willing to work with me and it's been great so far. I have a pretty bad herniation at L5-S1 and have tried everything to convince doctors to give me the meds that I need after having self medicated for some time. In the end, I found it was best to let the doctor be the doctor and tell him about specific issues that I'm having (Trouble sleeping mainly). I've found that once you tell them you're having a quality of life issue and you genuinely have a problem then they will work with you. I know this didn't help answer your problem directly, I've tried snorting and it doesn't work for me, but I hope my advice helps.
If you have suffered from serious drug abuse before, you are very suseptable to it again. So be careful man. But anyway, as parabol said you should definetley consult a few different doctors about you problem. In regards to your nose being stuffed up, maybe try and not snort the pills for a week and just pop half or a whole one extra when you take the medication as prescribed. I prefer the high from snorting sometimes. Just food for thought.
