Hey I am thinking about getting snake bites. I have been told id look good with them by quite a few people. My only concern is the scar they may leave. I went to the percing shop and the peircing girl had a noticable scaar from her lip peircing, so i decided not to get them at that point. Does anyone know what affects scaring ? Thanks.
One of the main things that affects scarring on piercings is how well it heals, so if you keep it clean and don't mess around with it, then it will heal a lot better than if you are always messing with it or let it get infected. To be honest though, if you take them out, they will leave a mark no matter how well they heal.
I dont mind a mark, i just dont want it to be very noticeable, maybe as noticeable as a small freckle at most.
i had a vertical labret... just under my lip is a tiny little dot... cant really notice it, unless i point it out... you should be fine
mine looks like a bump or something but once u get closer you see the scar. So yes to your question it will leave some kind of mark
i had snakebites, looked sexeh as fuck with them too. i'm going to save up to get them re-done, the fucking cops made me take them out after arresting me and threatened to slam my head into their counter at the cop shop, if i didn't do what they said, because THEY R THE COPS. fuck pigs. cannibilism should be reserved to fry bacon.
snakebites will leave marks. pretty much all piercings will..but what that other person said.. how well you take care of them will define how bad the scar is.
