i've got three classes with three TAs in the creative writing grad program.
poetry writing, intro to creative writing, and intro to literature. they're all great classes, especially the intro crw

before this i had always heard bad news about TAs, though one of them is a little whiny...

but i also have asian religions which is really easy and french 101 which is hilariously awesome

    how 'bout your semester?

I've had good instructors for the most part in my schooling. Math and science seem tougher to me than the others such as religion or psychology.

So, have you decided to definitely switch to a creative writing degree?

Oh, that makes me so happy. :)

My semester so far is going pretty smooth. I don't have classes on Tuesdays or Thursdays, and My Monday, Wednesday and Friday classes are over at 3, and are pretty easy. I havent even had to write any papers yet, and barely had any homework. I love it!

Glad to see someone else is having a good semester also! :)

my semester is going great. I like all of my professors, except my fieldwork of special education professor because he does not believe in experimental learning and I'm a firm believer of it. Everytime we have class discussions I always asked questions about his reasoning and I don't think he likes that. Last week we were talking about memorization and drill & practice and I stated how I disliked the approach because it doesn't allow the student to bring meaning into the material. well he tried to convience me that I was wrong. Grrr! I was accepted into the national honors society, which is good I suppose. This semester seems to be a lot less stressful for me. I have two semesters left, which could be a good or bad thing. I haven't decided on how I feel about that.

As for TAs, I had wonderful experiences with them. They always want to help you.

my intro to creative writing TA is AWESOME. he's hilarious and great and helpful.

also my intro to lit TA is sweet as well because I like how she does the class, we divided up into a few student groups and each group is responsible for being the "experts" on the day we discuss whatever stories we are assigned.

my poetry class is great, but the TA is very whiny. she's alright sometimes, but sometimes she's annoying
