Has anyone gone to SmileFest in previous years? How's the scene? I was going to get back on Dead Tour in St. Louis, but my favorite hometown band is playing SmileFest Saturday night and I want to support them. I was just curious as to whether I should expect an Odyssey-esque event or Bonnaroo-esque.
smilefest is very different than bonnaroo, i love it because of the small/friendly/phamily crowd...... great music, tons of camping room.............. its worth checking out!! we have been or the last few years and i love it...
I'll be there on Thursday afternoon. I can't wait to see Manner and Keller on Thurs.. Mountain of Venus, Larry Keel and Leftover Salmon on Friday. And Then I get a double dose of Syndicate on Saturday. I won't be too hard to find just ask around for me or just look in the taper's section I'll be there. 5 more days til FESSSTIVALL.
