small annoying problem from Printer Installation

a few weeks ago I had some problems w/the printer and had to go through all reinstalling software and crap.

anyway, it works now, but everytime I turn on my computer there's a series of those damn bubble messages popping up about how it found the printer I already installed successfully. I've tried to kill this thing but it won't die.

anyone successfully kill the pop-up bubble msgs after a printer f-up???
