Im using the aeroponic technique/system. My plants are grown from seed (quality probably low, came from my friends stash)

The plants are only 2 inches tall at best and are going on 3 weeks old. The solution is 700ppm with a metal halide about 18" away. The water temp is 78 which im about to lower with a cold pack. I have KLN root hormone and a beneficial fungi solution additive. I cant understand why they are growing slow. Theres only one root per plant, they havent branched out. I transferred them from peat moss when they were a couple days old, because theres no nutrients for them to thrive off of.

    Please help!

Its always good to grow from good seed stock. I had some old seeds that took weeks to get going, to start with they seemed to grow one bulbous looking root eventually this branched out and the plant grew multiple stems more like a cutting. You can either wait it out they will get going once a proper root system forms or send of for some proper seeds from a seed company. Next grow definitely buy some good seeds.

Is this your first grow with the aeroponics system? If not, I think you may have to adjust the nozzle, your problem could be too much water/not enough O2.

Peat is not a good grow medium--it's too acid.

Plants need nutrients starting day 12.

The problem could be crappy seeds, as buffooman suggested.
