couldn't find an old thread on this topic. so, lately my locks have been a pain to sleep with. the fat ones especially. maybe i just need to smoke some herb. i dunno. someone help.
What I do is take my pillow, and do like a credit card type slide from the front of my head to the back, and it slides back all of my hair so it's comfortable to sleep with. Hats suck to sleep with, it's like a kind of hard rock laying there All I can recommend is try to get some (I use two, or three) feather pillows. They offer nice cushion to your dreads, and don't feel like laying on bricks (I know, I don't have hard ones, or congos, but it doesn't feel to good to lay on my hair sometimes) Just don't be surprised to find feathers in your hair/clothes/bed/room/house after some time
Mine have been all itchy and irritating since I added the crocheted extensions- I have been tying them up on top of my head. None of my hat or wraps stay on in my sleep
pat do you sleep in a certain position? mine are about the thickness of yours, and some are fucking hard as a rock.
The hard ones (lol) at the back of my head used to rape my scalp and the ends of them raped my neck so i just tie them all up in a low-pony-tail and it kkeeps them out the way
i dunno what yall are talking about. mine are hard, but soft. but i guess because they're really thin, like pencil thin or thinner, then i don't notice they are lumpy when i sleep on em.
mine are uncomfortable sometimes too and it takes some adjusting. arranging them on the top of the head when im on my back or sweeping them back behind me when im on my side seems to work fine most times.
Mine are babies and soft as feathers, But I sleep on my face anyway. Literally, although I ave to use my arm as a separator from the mattress...so I can, you know...breathe.
Mine are all flat bastards from sleeping on them so they seldom bother me. I should probably disclaim that slightly by saying that I sleep in exactly the same position every night, there is a grove in my mattress any you could probably sleep 3 of me in a single bed.
