Here is my situation. I haven’t smoked pot in 4 years due to random drug testing with my job. I am happy with giving it up although I definitely get the urge to smoke once in awhile. I have 10 days of vacation coming up which means 10 days of no possibility of getting a random test. If I were to smoke on day 1 of my vacation, say a single joint, would I be absolute guaranteed clean by day 10 when I go back to work? Most stuff I have read online says 1-6 days for a single use, however I have heard up to 10 as well. If anyone has firsthand experience of getting tested after a single use, please feel free to share!
guaranteed? no. i would allow at least 14 days for guaranteed. ive gotten clean in less than a week, but noone could have guaranteed me that. and in the navy, they 'randomly' tested during times when people were getting off of vacations home, for holidays or whatever.
It sounds like you putting waayyyyy to much thought into this. Vacation is a lot of fun but... I suggest just not smoke, you been clean how long? Honestly why relapse now?
Guess I was just weighing the risks... it would be nice to sit back and toke one again. But its not worth losing my job over so your probably right.
