Simpsons vs South Park?

Both are great although sometimes i find south park takes the humor a bit too far. how about you? I find i cant decide. You cant beat Homer and you cant beat Cartman. Both shows are ingenius!

 

i prefer older simpson episodes over newer south park episodes, but i think the newer south park episodes are better then the new simpson episodes.

 

l like the Simpsons more than South Park..

 

A lot of kids like South Park because they think they now how a permission to swear I like the Simpsons, i think it's very clever. The humour is spot on and not a swear word in sight.

 

I like both equally.

They aren't that diffrent really, if you look deeper and understand the satire. Just a slightly diffrent syle of delivery.

I like south park a lot more. Thery're really sarcastic about our society. Here's my theory on SP; the kids represent common sense, and the south-parkians represent the media and the rest of dumb society (again they're very sarcastic about it). Maybe I'm over analyzing it, but it makes sense.
Did you see the recent scientology episode? The funniest part about it is that they didn't even make it up!

 

The Simpsons is well-written and often cerebral.

South Park is simply stupidity and shock value pandering to the lowest common denominator.

I prefer pre-PC Warner Brothers cartoons. Explosions and gunfire. That Wile. E. Coyote... what an actor!

Simpsons is intelligent, stupid and neither. It has a host of incredibly funny characters. South Park is for 12 year olds, except Cartman, hes just funny...

 

I love them both. They have both about made me urinate myself from laughing so hard. I don't like the ancient Simpson episodes (where Homer talks strangely). I like the 90s Simpsons. The new ones (primetime) are just not appealing to me anymore. Ralph is adorable and fucken hilarious.

I love South Park but IMO the show went down hill after getting rid of Kenny (then having him come back later without dying in every episode like before) but would still prefer these episodes over new Simpsons episodes. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are geniuses. Officer Barbrady is a fucken crack up.

The Simpsons is more realisitc compared to South Park. The Simpsons is more structured while South Park just has a bunch of random characters thrown together (e.g. Jesus Christ, Satan, Saddam Hussein, Mr. Hankey) but then again this is what makes the show so HILARIOUS. Even with random characters, the show still follows an understandable plot.










Well my point is i love both shows.

and then he'll chop them up and put them into a bowl of chili that you'll eat...

Simpsons is really falling short now-a-days. I think with American Dad and Family Guy, Simpsons just can't keep up or make as funny jokes. It always seems like the jokes are half-assed and that they just reaching now.
Used to be good, but now, eh.. I'd rather watch SP, American Dad and Family Guy.

 

Simpsons - it's for kids. I love South Park for it's trash, blood and black(not niger) humor. In Russia we watch it with translation, but one perfect man - "Goblin" makes a great things. He translates SP with dirty russian words (блядь, сука, пизда, говно, ебаться e.t.c.). It's very glamour and churches. Lern russian and kill George Bush!!!!

South Park is Simpsons but with teeth

 

I like both but I'm going to say The simpsons is better. The older are funnier and now after being on air for so long it is, like someone above mentioned, falling short.
