So, uhh ... do you guys think it's possible to have silence in chaos ... better yet, do you think there can be stillness in chaos? Hmm. I'm not sure what I think yet. I guess it's possible.
heh, well I could answer that now, or I could go smoke a bowl and answer it... shit, decisions, decisions. I think chaos is like a kind of silence... silence is just a lack of sound, entire lack of sound... and chaos is a lack of order, entire lack of order. So, chaos maybe is silence? Is you had the ultimate silence, would it also be a type of chaos? Fun stuff.
there is silence in chaos if none is there to witness it as 'sound' is a human , and animal experience take shrooms or something you seem to hae lots of questionnings ;p
So if its silent just because nobody is around to hear it ... is it real at all? or is it just a manifestation of our minds ... Like snakes can see the body heat of their pray ... but we as humans cannot. It's still real. \
yeah its real physical stuff, and the possible sounds are emmited, the vibrations , but theres no inner ear then brain to tranmit it as sound the snake...he just feels it...the animals they can feel your mood just by the vibrations you emit...whats bigger than you, you picture the universe. An animal is automatic, doesnt ask questions all he experieces is all there is for him. The universe is all there is for us we think but maybe we lack understandment!
Wow ... those are some good points! I never really looked at sound as being somthing physical ... So if all we know is our universe, because we lack understandment, then what about the bird in the cage? all it knows is its cage, and the room its in, like its surroundings ... but there is ALOT more of the world than what's inside that little cage.
but the bird has no idea of the rest of the world, and so, to the bird, his cage, and surroundings ARE his world. its just like a kitten who is born in a house, and grows up in that house, but never went outside. All that cat would know is the house, that is it's entire world. Of course there's more out there, but the little bird can't even begin to contemplate those issues. Like how us humans know that there is a universe, but have yet to experience any of it. We know the universe goes on and on, but, exactly how far does it go? What's at the end of it? Chaos is everywhere, you can't avoid chaos. It is silent, yet deafening. Chaos is everything at once, much like nature. Nature IS chaos. It is the perfect of opposites...holy yet condemned. Humans UNDERSTAND that there is a universe, we are aware of it's being, however, we lack the EXPERIENCE to even begin to understand what the universe is ABOUT, or how it works. We haven't evolved that far yet....But, chaos doesn't necessarily have to be about noise. There is chaos happening within the particles of air you are now breathing, yet you hear nothing. I believe there needs to be movement in order to have chaos, because stillness is a form of order, which is the exact opposite of the dictionary term of chaos. You can look at it all symbolically, though, and interpret it as your own definition, separate from any one else's, and that in itself would be an act of chaos.........this is some crazy stuff......
i suggest you watch 2001: A Space Odyssey too - in my interpretation it dealt very heavily with wisdom vs knowledge, and attempting to understand vs letting go and being. the psychadelic part near the end could probably be interpreted as a funky representation of chaos as well...
Chaos always leads to silence... When a living thing dies, silence occurs around it.. Be it a long or short. Life changes the fabric of time my friend
