shows with dreads

has anyone else notice shows are better with dreadlocks!!!?? People are nicer.. and im more accepted in the pit XD and headbanging looks fucking siiiick ;D
i love my dreads in ever aspect of my life XP

 

yes, i have noticed! and i love it
i get more respect overall and headbanging is like ten times more epic.

 

I KNOW!!!!! and i love the attention from everyone they go outa their drunken way to be to talk to me and epic isnt even an epic enough word for what headbanging is like with dreads lol

i think the dreads had something to do with the tenfold increase in guys hitting on me at the last show i was at.
i gotta say though, i hate those creepers in the pit who purposefully stay reeeally close to you the whole time so they can rub against you or something
but i love the rapport i had with the huge guys who usually own the pit. they are fun to get into it with

 

ive had like 10x increase in dates since i got my dreads the girls and boys love em

creepers are well creepy at a papa roach concert i went to this creep was feeling me up and i couldnt move luckly a secruty guard got him off me tho!

They're kind of looked down upon in the metal world. Most metalheads just have long straight hair

 

Really? All the metal shows I go to there are tons!!! But like black metal shows there aren't too many

 

dreads are usually nû metal
but I agree shows are more fun with dreads
quick question though since we have two words for the pit here mosh pit and the slam
mosh here is what straight edge "harcoremos" who say hardcore is not violence do where they headbang etc but never hit each other
Slam is where you get your asswhooped while having fun
Slam is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more fun with dreads

 

i think that in bc, more people in general might have dreads lol.
but yeah, the long strait hair is more common. i always see a few dreaded people, and my dreads always seem to get a good reception though.

 

Yeah they're more popular in the nu-metal/mainstream metal world

my fav is the kinda sparse, whirling pit of intenseness where all it is is good-natured fighting and shoving.

I was in the slam earlier in the first, drinking behind the second slam and was not inthe third I left early that day... dont really like surf music but the slams are some of the best

Those slam pits look lame. Anything where people are punching and kicking is stupid. Moshing should just be pushing and shoving.

Biggest pit I've ever seen was at LoG. I hate LoG but they had the whole place as one big circle pit.

And the other big one I witnessed was a wall of death at Slayer. It was insane

 

depends on what you like Ive seen all kinds of pits and well to each his own
those pits are to destroy we are usually drunk in those or pissod off
ska pits are worse or at least mexican ska those include knees and elbows, ko's are common
mexico is a little violent but Ive never seen anyone walk out angry out of those pits well ska are exceptions even metal pits are like that but even then people are considerate they dont punch heads etc why would it be stupid id as of now there have been no deaths from pits in mexico even though we punch?

also one of the best slams Ive seen was at the addicts cause everyone in the place was participating

 

having watched that vid, yeah i prefer the shoving kind, thats too sparse.

the wall of death is something i have not yet witnessed... circle pits sketch me out considerably as well.

 

I was in a LoG circle pit earlier this year.... it was pretty brutal. But yea the majority of the bands I like are all long straight hair.

yeah the sparseness is because its at school...not many people like to join and when they do you get something like the last vid

 

I respect the mosh and anyone who joins but there is nothing I hate more than having some crazy ass kids trying to drag you into the pit when you clearly don't want to be in one; that is when I start the punching.

 

thats true sometimes you are just too tired and not in the mood so its horribly annoying when they try to darg you in or push you in... thats why I keep away from the mosh unless Im joining
