So my best friend got busted yesterday. He's getting charged with: My best friend got arrested yesterday. He's getting charged with -Marijuana possesion (it was just like a gram) -Under the influence (I'm not sure what he means) -Failure to Comply (he was being an asshole to the cop) What do you think he's gonna get? Like just a fine? or like, juvie time?
Has he had past offenses before? I'd say that he would have to do some services and get a fine, but it depends on how the judge dude is feeling... I fucking hate cops...
First offence and he's 14. He also had paraphenila on him, but there not charging him with that for some reason.
They'll probably drop the failure to comply and/or the under the influence if he pleads guilty to the possession. Fine under 1k and 6-12 months of probation most likely. And some community service bullshit but that's so petty it isn't really worth worrying about.
As a general rule, its nnot a good idea to resist a cop. You can run in a crowd and maybe get away, but once they're close enough to resist, you are only gonna get tased(don't ask how I know). Anyway, at 14, he's probabl;y got bigger problems at home than in court.
actually, his mom didn't really care, he just has to pay the fine. its gonna suck mad cock when he gets probation though.
The cop told him to empty his pockets, the kid didnt hear him, so he asked what. The cop started screaming at the kid, threatening to hit him, so the kid said "I couldnt hear you asshole". The cop freaked out and said that the kid resisted.
Ha what a bitch. I probably would have said the same thing if he threathened to hit me over such a stupid thing after the kid said what. I would understand if the kid didn't respond that the cop would get pissed, but he said what. Stupid.
Your friend is dumb for calling a cop an asshole, even if he is he has much more power and authority. Calling him an asshole isn't going to do anything good for his situation.
A kid who I knew (wouldnt call him a friend) was 15 when he got caught under almost the same circumstances and got a $350 fine, 20 hours community service and i think 6 months of probation
