Shit Fire

Has any outside of my area (central, rural Illinois) ever heard this expression?... Country folks around here say it a lot.. The original expression was "Shit Fire to save the Masses" or so my dad says....

 

i'm pretty far out from your area so i havn't heard of it , what does it mean ?

Shit Fire is a pretty self-explanatory saying.... I mean, I wouldn't want to shit fire... but I don't know where the "original" saying comes from. I guess it is self-explanatory too.

 

I thought it may have had one of those "hidden" meanings.

Is that the saying? Or did you just think of it?... Because, that one does make sense. Maybe my dad was wrong.
