to everyone who had a problem reading and understanding this, id like to suggest a book to ya all, its called barefoot in the head if u can find it, read it, but im betting most of ya wont get past the 1st chapter, cause after the 1st chapter it throws out all rules of grammer and spelling and sentence structure (and in fact words no longer ressemble words) but instead it communicates in pure ideas, thoughts, feelings, brilliently, its 1 of the most creative books ya can imagine, but i doubt any of ya would ever read far enough into it to discover that, instead you'd just give up at the 1st word of gibberish and miss out on the free flow of ideas

random thoughts has very lil thought in it anymore, its allways a noit very random and usualy predictible series of mindless responces...the dumjber the better, cause like some1 said ..thought hurts, they just want mindless stupidity to numb the brain...
any actual thoughts should be left out of rt

(skip since we're changin forum names to be more exact in what theyre about shoulkdnt rt be changed to random stupidity?)

this is so typical of these forums, when you cant find fault with an argument, attack grammar and spelling
(ofcourse simplky agreeing would be out of the question, wheres the entertainment vallue in that? gotta argue, but about what? too dumb to understand the point, then go off about every single typo and misplaced comma..

Shouldn't all forums everywhere on the internet really be called "Random Stupidity"?

You see, there are plenty of amazing books that create new grammar rules, new spellings. For example, A Clockwork Orange, Trainspotting, and some Roald Dahl. These are all excellent literary works with artistic merit.

The opening post however reads like something spat out. It has little coherence. Some people commented on grammar and spelling, which they are entitled to. The OP then went on to label everybody who could not understand his diatribe as simpletons and non-hippies. You seem to agree.

There is a lot of joking and light-hearted hair-pulling on this forum but to label it as stupidity because the majority of posters don't see the same point of view as yourself is true Stupidity.

If you have problems with RT just stay away. Very simple. I don't mind grammar mistakes...hell I make them all the time, but misspelling almost every single word to the point that it doesn't make sense is annoying and makes any arguement or idea a complete waste of time to read. I didn't attack her argument or her....just the way she tried to get her point across. Oh by the way just because someone complains about the spelling doesn't mean they are too stupid to understand. Fine name random thoughts random stupidity. I shall call you dirty old man with bad spelling....like Dances with wolves - only less poetic.

Dr. Suess made up a lot of the words in his stories, but he wasn't ranting in a forum, expecting to draw followers...

bah, I hardly ever see people attacking poor grammar and/or spelling in here. in fact, I think this is the first time I've seen people react to it, and rightfully so. the OP shows sufficient mastery of the english language that the butchery displayed in the first post could easily be avoided. grammar and spelling mistakes are one thing, making something this flawed is something else entirely, and it's almost hard to believe it was accidental.

and then she goes on to compare herself with Einstein (who, by the way, could read.) and calls all of us simpletons.

actualy, no einstein couldnt reasd, ..or tie his shoes
typical of mathemeticians and people with extreme inteligence he like most others ofg his calibre demonstrated as much stupidity and ignorance as inteligence
when yoiur dealling with people of such high inteligence its often like dealling with a child, or a retard, the know it all thing doesnt help either, just try having an argument with a mathemetician, they'll spout all sorts of idiotic crap that makes no sence, but insist it must be true just cause they have a phd in an entirely unrelated subject..they never admit they can possibly be wrong about something even if they know nothing about the subject at all..
also the extremje inteligence often makes them borderline insane so the most brlilient idea may come out as nonsence rantsbut if your not so quick to dismiss then u may learn more then u evrr imagined

move this o polotics/environment or the future and i know you'll get better replies (maybe still a few who rather complain about grammar then deal with the real issues but hey, when the worlds fallin apart around em and everyones dying, they can be happy just knowing they know how to spell catastrophy right i guess)
(so i spelled it wrong, so what, when it happens we'll still both know what it is right?
    )
the simpletons and nonm hippiue comments seem to be edited out so i;'ll just assume they were there
but ist that what ya all were dong, by instead of reading the threwad just going on and on about how dumb she soiunds for a few grammar mistakes
    grow up

im not sayin ya all are too dumb to get it..not st all, just too judgmental to even try.

i think me and molly maybe the only ones who took thr time to try to read it and understand it, and if we both agree its probly the most brillisnt post to hit rt in a longtime then maybe its woirtyh a second look/

(my wireless keyboards typing random letters sometims or not typig theones i wa otertiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiims like that)so go on judge my posts by my keyboards shortcommings, just like ya did on her mastery of engliush wich sure seems to be a second language

damn i need a new keyboarrrrrrrr

Einstein went to university. he did poorly in languages and history, and excelled at maths and science, but he most certainly could read. however, he did have trouble reading ENGLISH, because of the spelling. just because the OP rambles like a madman doesn't mean she's a genius, so you needn't take everything she says as fact.

now, I did read it again earlier, and got the message. it was better when I thought it was just insane ramblings. the message is a cliché and not worth a second read. like I said, if I want someone to prophesize doom, there are far better sources available.

soaringeagle, I don't think any less of you because of your grammatical and spelling errors, because you can atleast get your message across pretty clearly most of the time. but some of the bullshit in your last post makes me slightly lose respect for you. no offense, I still like you. but seriously. read your last post again. it makes you look kind of like an asshole.

oh, and the OP uses fairly advanced words, which makes me think english is in fact a first language.

i'm typically the last to complain about spelling and grammatical mistakes. but she presented an artistic statement and got my response on it. really, it should never have gone in user support, that was pretty dumb. because it gets flushed down here. what WAS she thinking?

i have a friend who went to harvard who would have to ask me how to spell things like "who." but then, he was original, brilliant and dedicated to being understood, instead of clouding his statements in pretentions of artistry.

Aaaauuuggghhh! This thread is SO...just AUGH. To the OP, please PLEASE try to communicate your thoughts a little better. No one wants to have to strain their brain all day at their real life jobs or whatever it is they do to come here and try to translate and decipher everything they read. It's a fact of life, sorry. And you don't have to be so hypocritical about people complaining about not being able to read it. I have an idea what it's about and I've been telling people myself for years that the earth is ridding itself of humanity because we are poisoning it. Anyway, thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I'm sorry that I didn't take the time myself to realllly read into your original post.

P.S. Firefox (a browser much like Internet Explorer, you can find it at Mozilla.org) has a nifty spell check for all your text fields. I, myself, use it quite often because while I have pretty decent spelling skills, I still am not the greatest with some lesser common words and like to spell them right. You don't have to try it if you don't want to, but I highly recommend it since I use it myself.

Quest for infinite knowledge has reached its peak, and lead them to ignorance. Never do they realize infinite knowledge is like touching all the universe, and knowing all there is to know about it. Thier great technology and greedy curiosity will lead to thier destruction.

Thier cries are heard by her(earth) as they become one with her(earth) once again. Those of us that do see the destruction that is to come, and are concerned with the path we are headed down. What happens to us, will we become victims to her(earth) wrath? While she (earth) goes about mending herself (earth), preparing for her rest, and rebirth.

When do we realize that in our quest for perfection, and need to scrutinize and piont fingers at everyone elses mistakes rather than worry about the important question at hand. Has lead us farther away from our true reason for existence. We have put
our creator in the position of choosing between us and her (earth).

Why are we at war over power, energy, and god. Allowing the living, breathing world around us to be destroyed.

This is what I want to discuss, and hasn't got a damn thing to do with grammar.
Please limit your replys' to they question or ideas on the issue in the post. Please....So that I can share my thought, and ideas with people who share my concerns. Thank You..

    Also:
Im the first to say "my grammar and spelling sux".
    I appreciate the lesson though..

    Please back to the subject..
    Thank You,

Its a forum. I consider this sight brushing up, an agressive release to allow my ideas to come together.
I tend bar and dont get home till 3 to 5 in the morning..
Im letting it all out..Get it.....THis is a release.......
It keeps me from getting blocked, and gives me feedback to bring my writing to perspective.

Oh. The period doesn't come before the but. lol...
:) . Your own ideas on the subject will be appreciated....

    wow. I'm astounded.

    1. we weren't being unjustified assholes picking at minor grammatical errors. your original post was a terrible crime against literacy.
    2. the period before the "but" is fine. it could have been a comma, but considering there is a comma again in that sentence, the period is more appropriate. you are hardly in a position to nitpick about other people's grammar.
    3. I understood your thought just fine. there's nothing original or deep about it. anyone who's halfway clued in to the world is aware that shit is happening.
    4. writing in upper case doesn't make your message come across more clearly. if anything, it makes you look like even more of an asshole.
    5. if by "at first" you mean "when he was a kid" then you're right, Einstein couldn't read. but he did read german just fine by the time he went to fucking university. stop pulling "facts" out of your ass if you want to be taken seriously.
    6. if you want to write artistic little tidbits, I suggest taking it to the writer's forum. and if you think you got a hostile reception here, oh man, you better take care to spellcheck in there.
    7. thanks for proving that you can write just fine and proper if you bother putting an effort in, thus making my previous points all the more valid.
    8. I am done. I don't think you are at all receptable to criticism, which, if you want to be an artist, is imperative to success.

PS: I might have respected your wishes to only discuss the actual topic if you hadn't decided on continuing to be an asshole by picking on KC's grammar. this thread has long since derailed from the original topic, and is now just a petty online argument. read point 6 if you want people to discuss your artwork and prophesy of doom.
