two other sweet wooden things... but i forget the names... they find a perfect verticle
400 dollars cash
a stephen king book
two books on the dog that saved cats and died and was remembered in that cat show
pajamas
cute cat boxes
tons of lotion and spa stuff
an air purifier
a stupid santa cookie jar that sings when you open it
a cashmere sweater and scarf
another hand made scarf
one of those dumb key chair lights that is bright for a mile
and thats all i can remember without opening the boxes

my family aient here thru the rest of the year

but they sure do love christmas

It took me years to get my in laws to tone it down.....I don't exchange with sibs because that's silly. But they just wouldn't quit on hubby's side.....

Jesus that's rude, I would be so offended by that. No, seriously... what's happened to having the decency to smile and say thanks even if you don't really like it? That was like the first rule of giftgiving I ever learned. Shut up and smile type of a deal. I honestly would not want to talk again to someone who did that to me... if someone says no gifts I don't expect any from them but I'll still go out shopping to see if I can find that perfect something for them. Shopping for another person is usually very thoughtful and time consuming.

seriously though, when you get tons of nice shit like that, you don't get to bitch about how they didn't donate to charity. Fuck that, give the cash you did get to charity, tithe 10% of your earnings throughout the year or something instead, but at least be happy with what you got, remember that they probably spent a fair bit of time trying to find that right kind of something for you.
