Question! The other night I texted my man friend of sorts, to come over and have fun, but sadly he was in tofino. He came back last night, however so did my period. I know that he wouldn't mind having sex anyways, but I can't think of the most sexy/least unsexy way of saying I have it. I was thinking of something like "It's shitty, but I just got my period - still wana come over?" But that just doesn't seem right somehow. suggestions?
Well, just tell him - having the period is the most natural thing, and if he has some experience with girls (so, if he isnt half a teenager or something like that) he will have no problem with it. your period is nothing to be ashamed of Btw, you can have sex during your period too... its just that there WILL be blood, so you and your BF will have to decide for yourself, if you can cope with that or not.
Yea, we've done it before, but I've always been a bit skirmish to talk about it freely. Mostly because -I- find it really really gross. It's way natural, but its always been a really gross concept to me. I think I think about the way other people react to blood, because blood has never made me gag or anything I find it perfectly normal. But I find other people who see it are instantly disgusted by it, so why wouldn't a guy be all like "blood? from your vagina? I have to put my penis there though. " it's a strange world.
Phrase it so it sounds like he's doing you a favor. "I got my period, so I'll understand if you don't want to come over, but this time of the month, I get so horny." Or a different approach "I got my period, is that a problem for you or should I call someone else."
on the other hand.... its not like you are bleeding half the month. a few days without sex wont kill either of you. I will just assume you are something near adult, so you should be able to handle a few days with no sex.
