And That's telling my parents. I've been thinking of becoming vegetarian forfree aaaages, but i've finally made up my mind to do it, and I will go meat-free on New Years Day. I had initially decided to do it in 2 years at uni, but I don't think I can wait that long. Only I have this feeling my parents won't agree. My Mum will be all 'Iron levels, proteinlevels...', and I can answer all her queries, but I'm actually really scared. Everyone except my family knows I'm going veggie, and it's making me feel such a chicken because the moment to tell them hasn't arised yet.
See, my mum LIKES vegetarian food, yet I'm not really sure what her reaction will be. I already help with the cooking, so it would be no bother to cook a different dinner. I'm going to order the peta pack and see if that has any tips. So how should I bring it up?

Ah go for it. I just recently decided to give up all pork. I am not going cold turkey I am going to give it up in stages. First pork, then Red meat, and so on...

Good luck! Just tell her its something you really want to do and you really want her to support you and hopefully she will. I mean come on she cant tie you down and force you to eat meat.
