I dont think I spelled that right, and since the pill ID forum gets like NO activity, I thought I would post my question here... hope Skip doesn't freak out on me... Anyways, what exactly IS Seroquil? Is it an anti-depressant? Can you take it recreationally? I found a bottle at my house, and its not expired or anything. So I figure I might figure out a little bit about it before (if) I take it. Sorry I even asked this question really, I could have just Googled it, but my computer is being REALLY slow and lagging and stuff, and it won't load any site but Hipforums.... Its not too bad, really.....
Seroquel is not a recreational drug.I had a perscription and it was for an obsessive thinking disorder. It is also used in high does to treat schiczos. If you take it you will probly just fall asleep. But if you take it and manage to stay awake it will feel like you are sort of triping until you fall asleep. If you take it often and a lot of it theres a good chance you may become addicted to it.
There's actually a thread about it already in the "pharmaceuticals" or the "other drugs" forum. It's usually prescribed as an anti-psychotic. I have taken it numerous times to get some sleep. There is really no recreational use for it. It just makes you VERY sleepy. If you stay awake long enough after you take it you will be so sleepy you will start seeing very mild visual disturbances, but you will be too sleepy to enjoy it. It has not buzz or anything. I'll see if I can find the thread in the other forum so I can post the link for you.
Here's the link. Not much more info than we gave you. http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=176685
im prescribed to it, and yea all it does is make you really tired. you develop a tolerance to it kinda quickly, though, or at least I have. I've never stayed awake long enough to trip or anything.....but i dont doubt you do....
Hmmm well thanks for the quick replies guys, and thanks for all the copy and pasting so i can actually know whats up with this stuff... since my computer SUCKS.
I had seroquil prescribed for anxiety, needless to say it helps me sleep but I dont think I ever had an axiety problem, doctor basically told me that and gave me the pills lmao.
pretty much the same thing happened to me, I was tested for schizophrenia, cuz it's in my family, and he said I had it mildly, so he just prescribed it to me.....ive never even noticed anything weird with me like that.....
