Screening survey here! Study of Lesbian+ & Queer Unwanted Consensual Sexual Experiences with Women

Hi everyone, I hope it’s alright to share this here!

I’m a queer woman currently working on my dissertation, which explores lesbian and queer people’s experiences of unwanted consensual sex. I'm in the process of trying to find participants, so if this study looks like something you'd be interested in, I encourage you to take the screening survey

    Who Can Participate?
    • Currently lives in United States
    • Had 2+ sexual partners in past 2 years
    • Currently has no committed primary partner
    • 18+ years old
    • Identifies with a lesbian or queer sexuality

    What's Involved?
    1. Short screening survey (link at top)
    2. 10 min call to confirm participation
    3. 60 to 90 min Zoom interview
    4. $40 payment for participation

    Questions? Study contacts are...

NOTE: People use words like lesbian, queer, and women in many ways. We include anyone who connects with them.

What exactly does "unwanted consensual" mean? Those are opposites.

In checking the legitimacy of this survey, I came across the answer to my own question: "UCS refers to instances where someone agrees to sex but may not fully want to, feel like, or be interested in engaging in sex." In other words, the person said yes reluctantly.

My assumption is when saying 'no' is preferable, but messier than saying 'yes.'

Fear of resisting is a real thing, unfortunately. Been there done that.
