i'm trying to grow for the first time but don't want to buy seeds off the internet. can i just use the seeds that i clean out of the weed i buy? is there anyway to tell if a seed will sprout or not without planting it?
Yes but it can be hit or miss. What your looking for is grey to black coloured seeds, yellow white or patches off and miss shaped seeds no good. If you germanate seeds between damp kitchen towel and they crack open or spout root there good. Bag seeds can be a bit inbred genetic faults and loss of vigor hemi and late bloomers.
