I got just one plant one month old,i dont know if is male or female but seeds will be created independent of the gender or just females or males get seeds? And how long can take to a seed sprout? (maximum time)
For a plant to grow seeds: -it must be a female -it must have been pollinated by a male. The exception is that some (a few) plants are hermaphrodites, meaning they contain both male and female sex organs. Herm.'s can self-pollinate. Properly done, germinatation can take as little as 16 hrs (from start to seed crack). If you're talking about how long from planting in soil until you see a seedling, it can take as long as 2 weeks, but generally a lot less.
yeah i have 3 seeds in this dirt, i make sure the soil is kept a little moist. put em in on the 14th and its the 19th now and i dont see shit.
Odds are you're doing something wrong, but it's gonna be hard for un to tell you what it is. Here's how I germinate seeds. -Take some tap water and leave it out for 24 hours. This lets the chlorine leave the water. I ph adjust it to 7.0 with ph down also but you don'y really have to do this unless you water is horrible. -I add a drop of hygrozyme and liquid karma to the water, and place the seeds in the cup. They should all float, but tap down on all of them. If any sink right away when tapped then they are no good. -Put them in the dark and wait 24 hours. After 24 hours try the tap test again. If any of them sink them move them on to the next step. If any don't then wait until they do before moving them on until the next step. - Take a moist paper towel (or cheesecloth) and place the seeds on it. Then fold it over so they are covered on both sides. Put this inside of a plastic baggie and put in it the dark someplace warm (I use the top of my cable box under the tv). -Check 24 hours later and if any have the taproots showing then move them into soil. If not then wait 24 more hours. -If after 5 or so days they aren't popping then try skuffing them (sort of scatch the tip of the seed - this is because the seed is too hard for the embrio to break out) and putting them back into the towel. I've used this method since I started and I've never once had a seed (that I bought, not bagseed) not germinate.
