alright ive got two seeds in the soil. but they havent sprouted yet. I should keep the light on the soil right?
Dont need light just need 70-80f temps. Another tip lay bubble wrap on top of your pots and then a sheet of news paper and mist once to twice a day.
i just use keg cups filled with soil, water your soil thoroughly, push your seed in about the depth of a pencil eraser then cover that hole lightly with soil, put a sandwich baggie over the top of the keg cup leaving it loose so it's not air tight.......seeds need air too............place these cups under a 4ft 2 bulb T8 shoplight keeping this light on 24/7 strictly just for keeping the soil warm.......as said before you don't need light for sprouting seeds, just helps them stay warm.........when you see them poking out of the soil take the sandwich baggies off and voila! seedlings! Usually takes anywhere from 2-5 days with most coming up in 3 days.
alright sounds good thanks. lol sorry for the newb question. its the only thing i couldnt find in my research
