Wow! I am surprised Mitt actually said something truthful for once. Still doesn't make him any less of a buffoon, though.

Anyway, this pretty irrelevant since presidential candidates will say anything their base wants to hear.

It's no different than when Obama referred to people living in rural areas as "clinging to their guns and religion," which is as true of a generalization as the one Romney made.

So what? It's political rhetoric. This is nothing new, surprising, shocking, or whatever.

This was played on national news this morning (CBS). I wonder if Fox will play it and what kind of spin they would put on it.

Just typical con rhetoric playing to the base. It was getting caught, admitting that cons hate half the country, which destroys his chances to become POTUS. That's why he grovels today.

The libs will make the point that he whines about 47% of the poor in this country not paying taxes, but he refuses to show that he himself pays them.

It shouldn't be news that those with money hold those without or those with a lesser amount in disdain. It's how they judge life itself. Why would people without much of anything get any respect from the rich? The poor are of no use to them. With the possible exception of being used for cannon fodder so that their extra-continental forays for the riches of others can continue. Or to work in their factories until a better deal comes along.

I can imagine much,much more revealing ideas,statements and plans that are hatched, discussed and put into action, than the fact that they are much better people than the rest of us, and are justified in everything and anything they can conjure up to gain more power.

 

I thing being an arrogant "Type A" personality is actually as much a mental problem as depression, anxiety, etc.
