    Sean Paul is a great artist and he speaks about real issues in his lyrics, not how much gold and ice he's wearing.

    You obviously don't listen to much Dancehall music cause they also chat about bling in their lyrics.

    I dont know how you can put Sean Paul into the reggae area, he sounds like every other pop song.

    true true.. just beacuse he's jamaican doesn't mean he makes reggae.. he goes in the same bin as beyonce and the likes..
    i really don't like his music + he giver the people all the wrong ides 'bout what reggae is..
    to end with a quote: "Too much comercialisation of rastafari.." (and also the reggae culture in general..)

    too much commercialism of rastafari? its a fucking religion man.
    sean paul thinks he can fit himself into the subgenre of reggae called dancehall. Dancehall found its way into the music scene in i believe the late 70s when djs would play roots reggae and almost talk/rap over the songs they sampled.
