what kind of sciences did you take senior year? i got out of taking a math so i doubled up on sicence. there realy fun sand ive been learning a lot. did you learn anything that you now use in your life?
I took physics my senior year. And no, I didn't learn anything in school that has proven useful. But that's not the purpose of school, which is to condition you to regurgitate whatever you're told without really thinking about it. Let's face is, the people who control the education system, which is the same people who control everything else, don't want a public that can critically think for themselves. School is just a form of brainwashing. I never took it seriously and was always bored by whatever I was being taught. I always knew it was a sham.
Chemistry and hated it. Teacher was smart but couldn't teach- everyone made fun of him and I felt bad for him but he was a horrible teacher.
I only had to have 3 science credits, so I didn't take science my senior year. The physics teacher that year was a joke anyway.
i only went to 2nd 3rd 4th n 5th grade.then i was in hospitals or lockup facilities. i love science tho. things that make sense stay in my head sept raw math.pysiks n geometry i can still remember tho. i read books 24 7 cuz i didnt want to be dumb. oh well ;p
I only did Biology at school. it was fun and easy to learn. my teacher was a riot. i ended up doing a science (specific) degree at uni which i finished last year. i love learning about the things around me. i was never one for the bullshitting out of your ass essays and analyse this 10 different ways.
Well it was listed as a science credit on my transcripts but was called Digital Data Technologies my senior year. I highly suggest if they offer it taking a critical thinking class. It really keeps your mind a little more open to the reasons why people say what they do on topics.
I agree they teach a lot of sugarcoated bs, but I think the purpose of school is to make you think critically. Not so much in the public schools and high schools but at least at the university level it is very different. Ive had a bunch of liberal professors that encouraged us to think and supported my ideas.. You might have been bored because you were more advanced than the other people, but its hard to believe that you didnt learn anything useful in school.
oh and I didnt take any science my senior year, but I really like chemistry and physics. What are you taking?
I took advanced physics and AP Chemistry my senior year. I am about to leave to go to my Physical Science class here in college, to learn about velocity and force, just like in 5th grade! Fuck the American education system, fuck it in the balls.
i take this environmental class which is so much fun! i love everything we learn and forming different opinions of them. i talk to my old earth and space science a lot. he converted his little truck to veggie oil and he knows a lot about the whole global warming thing. he believes that we (humans) are not the cause of it but we can do things to help the earth. im also taking a brandywine flows class. this class is about our watershed and how we use it and what pollutants are in it. we take filed trips to the brandywine and go canoeing. we also test the pH levels and learn about our natural resouce of water.
AP physics and chemistry my junior year. Aced them very easily. Science and I are good friends. Not as good as lit and I, but me and science are still pretty close. Chemistry actually held my hair once while I was puking. Senior year I dropped out. Family stuff.
i took chem and biology. chem i liked, bio i had to take. my mom wanted me to take all my maths and sciences but i hated physics so i only took the grade 11 class of it, not hte grade 12. i did take all my maths though.... i liked them back then. now i forget most of it *shrugs* if you dont keep up with doing it its sooooo easy to lose
alls i can say, i didnt like chemisty at all! i didnt understand anything but i loved the labs we did. when we were picking what we wanted for science this year, there was no way in hell i was going to take physics! thats shit seems so hard!
I took as little science as possible in high school, same with math. Math, chemistry and physics gave me major headache, biology wasn't as bad but I still dreaded it. Does geography count as science? In Finnish school system it falls under science, and it was the only science I actually liked and was good at. Apart from that, I was always more of a history and languages kinda girl.
well i learned how to fuck. sum skinhead grrl took my cockcherry in the snow. i want you inside me. learned how to smoke.n beat up navajoes.n sum linebacker.n how to steal halfgallons.and i met a sister in drama said lizzie borden wit an axe.great legs eyes too.
I took chemistry and got in acid fights (sulfuric, hydrochloric, etc....) pretty crazy shit, I've still got the scars. but it was fun.
