This is my first year at the public school. Good stuff man. I can't believe I've been missing out on this for 11 years. I'm going to start mackin' and pimpin' this week. I already asked some girl to the homecomming, but she said she was already going with someone else (I personally don't see why that would keep her from going with me too, but oh well.) Don't worry, I've got at least 5 other girls I'll ask until someone says yes. I'm getting the band together too. I have a drummer, and all I need is someone to play guitar, bass, and sing, and that could be one person. Anyway, after the football games, some of us go out and hang out at taco bell or something, and that's fun. That classes are boring, but there's not much homework except for english which always sucks.
Well it's good to hear that you're enjoying your public school experience. I was seriously considering homeschooling my little ones, but so far (my oldest is in 1st grade mind you) we've had a very positive experience at the school for his kindergarten and beginning 1st grade year. I was able to get him into a better school through open enrollment as compared to the school he normally would have attended in our district. Sure there's been a few things that I don't like, but all in all, he's doing extremely well and seems to be thriving, happy, and excited about all of the new children he meets, the activities, classes and whatnot. He even gets to change classes 1-2 times a day Tuesday-Friday. Yes. In first grade. I personally think that's awesome, it breaks up the day for him, livens things up a bit instead of staying in the same class all day. He does miss me a lot still, was crying at school this afternoon, but he said it's just because he misses me, but that he really likes school, just wishes I could be there with him. But I will be at least once a week because I volunteer there. I did homeschool my oldest for preschool, and I'm continuing that with my 3 year old twins as well. Anyway. It's good to hear that PS is going well. Hope the rest of the school year continues to be positive for you.
And now I got a date for the homecomming too. This is why homeschooling is evil. I go for 18 years without getting a date, then I get one in the third week of school.
lol, my best friend is home schooled and she misses out on that kind of stuff too,... i know she's gunna do the same thing as you once she gets to college.... hope she doesn't do anything stupid...... yeah but you have more opportunities tom eat people at school
...& a dance, the homecoming dance's at my school were sooooooo lame! i think i only went to about 3 or 4 football games the entire yr of high school. i kinda wish i woulda gone more, but it was cold & they were logn & boring.... i prefer baseball....
Yeah, public school's alright. Get's old quick though. If you mingle amongst the crowd instead of one group of people it's not bad, just don't fall into any cliques or anything. The shit talking is unbearable. I just have one question. Is that thing about having a moose on your shirt a reference to Abercrombie and Fitch shirts? I hope you're not making a generalization.
It's Chalker High School in Southington. Yes, I'm talking about A&F, although I'm not totally serious about that. You don't have to have a moose on your shirt to be cool, but it helps alot. Also, there's these guys who want me to be in their band. School is helping me to reach me goals of getting sex, drugs, and rock and roll.
thats really cool that school is going well for you, it all sounds really exciting here's my question, shouldn't you be in school right now?
I'm in school, but I'm "studying" in study hall. Same stuff I study for homework. In fact, this is like the only time I get on this website. It's really the only thing any good that's not blocked.
I'm confused, do you actually like A&F or are you just saying that cause you're one of those "preps" suck people?
Yea, I like A&F. I have a few things from there, and I just wore a Hollister shirt yesterday. I just think it sounds funny especially if you didn't know what the moose meant.
I protest Abercrombie & Fitch because they use child labor & unfair labor practices. In a city near mine, we got in trouble by a security guard for beign to close to Banana Rep. & A&F, so we just stepped back & were practical in the street. We sent in petitions that we got people to sign. Most people are actually unaware of all of it, it's rediculous.
