just dont drive around with one. keep one @ your homebase... and more than likely when you buy weed theyll weigh it out in front of you... if not just ask to see their scale
I have never been shorted and I would never ask for anyones scale. I have a friend who was shorted an eigth and he called the guy who than brought him an additional quarter. They want you to come back so I doubt anyone will short you.
I think it depends on the cop that arrests you, I had a friend who got caught with some bud and a scale and she just flat out said it's for herself so she doesn't get ripped off, and she wasn't charged with intent to sell, she got a paraphenalia and possession charge though. If I'm not buying from a friend, I always wieigh it, but I don't weigh it until I'm jst leaving or I'm out of sight because it seems a little disrespectful, Eye balling is not the best method because you can't always tell how dense, or how NOT dense the nugs you're getting are.
