this is a concept that makes no sense and never has. you ARE 'your' soul. when you die you say goodby to your body. what else CAN you and your sould be but one and the same? your body and even your mind you can seperate from your true self, but what other 'soul' is there or can there be BUT your true self, the one and only thing that you realy truely are?

as for subsiquent existences and this bussiness of the're being somehow connected with what are abitrarily called bad things rather then things that are observably and objectively harmfull, well come on, i mean it's pretty obvious the real root of that is vested interests in manipulating people.

which has nothing to do with god, morality, or your true self, that i can see. i know there are a lot of beliefs that try to convince people that they do, but this is just plain crazy insane.

so the humor of 'cynical' cleche's about it eludes me. heavins and hells are about not being robbed of calmness. by whether or not we do so to each other is how we make anyplace and everyplace heavins and hells, in this life or any other.

if there's anything else to it, well i won't say there can't be any more then i can see any hard evidence that there has to be either.

there is no tangable book who'se words weren't written by human hands, whatever else it may contain, nor priesthood not succeptable to 'human' motivations.

i didn't mean to rant about beliefs, but this whole bussiness of looking at existence that these kinds of assumptions are based upon, it doesn't come from anything but people immagining they gain something from manipulating other people. whatever anyone may have been or when.
