I gotta rush off but this idea just 'popped' into my mind, so thought it was meant to be posted here. Why not, instead of having so many suffer in unworkable relationshps or leaving everyone high and dry, or at best, with our guesses on how to help (which is still good idea, just I want more lol), why not put up links to books online (free) or sites with advice on "how" to have a good relationship. I see many people, especially young but not only the young, repeating many of the same problems over and over. If only there were some links to professional advice, that could sometimes help. Nothing always helps, but it sure could be a good addition. Thats all, must run!

    Namaste,

    this is true.....

Lotus, you have a good idea here, but *how to* links probably won't help....i don't know, maybe they will....

but from my experience, it takes a level of maturity to maintain or attract positive relationships....maturity that doesn't neccissarily come with age.

you have to know yourself first....trust yourself....then you have to be able to listen....know what you want and listen to find out if the other person is willing to give it....

that was quite the ramble.....*cha-ching* there go my two cents.....

I would refer all males to visit askmen.com and read articles by doc love who has helped me more than anyone else when it comes to understanding women and relationships.

How would you know what relationships are right or what to save if youve never been through bad ones?

"how to" things dont work because people are different. i know people that get person after person bad relationship good relationship whatever. for me i got cheated on once (gf lost virginity to one of my friends) relationship ended and i havent had a girl friend for over 2 and a half years now.
