Salvia questions

I'm thinking of ordering some Salvia online - I was really surprised that it actually is legal for a psychedelic drug - and I was just wondering a few things:

* anybody tried it - what was it like?

* do you just smoke it like weed?

* how much you should you smoke to get high, or trip.. do you trip with that??

* is it dangerous in any way?

* what does it taste like?

* is it really legal???

 

I'll try to answer as best I can.

• I've tried it, it was incredibly visual.
• Kind of, works best through a bong or bubbler as the smoke is kind of harsh, and you need to take a large hit, then hold it as long as you possibly can.. Usually you'd just take the amount you plan to take in the bowl, and cache it in one hit.
• Someone else will have to answer that, or you can look it up somewhere, but you just need a fraction of a gram, and yes, you should trip.
• Not that I know of, but I sure as hell wouldn't try to do it while I was driving.
• Kind of bitter and harsh.
• As of right now, YES.

Hey, do you know any good website where I could order it from? Because I've seen a few... but I don't know what to trust!

 

I don't know about the quality of any websites, I just bought mine from my friendly neighborhood headshop.

 

first off ive done salvia many times and the trip is mind blowing, after i smoked it i felt conncted to the world, its a very spritual high,smoke it out of a bong because you can take large hit and the smoke is filtered so its not as harsh,smoking salvia is different then weed,you should hold the lighter right over the bowl and make it burn hot and fast,each hit hold for 20-30 secound you will probably only get about two or three hit befor it kicks after that just try and relaxe dont try and smoke more cause you wont be able to,for first time you should do leaves or 5X but they have up to 20X which is realy realy powerful stuff my firend did it and told me its one crazy trip and i hope to try 20X soon, realy other then lung problem due to smoking anything and the chance you might fall over or something if you smoke it standing up there arnt any other negative health effects,you can become paronid but i have anxiety problems and never had a problem with it,you should realy research it more befor you do it www.erowid.org and www.sagewisdom.org , a good a legit site is www.moondreams.net (this is the site me and my firends use) and www.iamshaman.com both are very very good site and can be trust fully

Mixing it with weed is just amazing, too.

 

Imagine that reality and your life experiences are a pane of glass.

Now, imagine the pane is shattered, and completely re-arranged in a pattern almost beyond recognition, but still somehow in order.

That is a salvia trip.

The smoke is fairly harsh, and taste like alfalfa would taste if you smoked it I think.

It is preferable to smoke out of a bong, with a torch lighter. Smoke should be held in for 20-30 seconds as salvinorin is absorbed into the lungs slower than most drugs.

* how much you should you smoke to get high, or trip.. do you trip with that??
Everyones different, I have a low tolerance for most psychoactives, but I would suggest starting with a low dose and working your way up...and it depends on what strength your smoking (leaves, 5x,10x, ect...).

* is it dangerous in any way?
As far as health goes, it hasnt been shown to cause any damage to the body (at least from what i've read), although it is extremly neccessary to use a sober sitter whom you trust as injurys can be done to yourself while under the influence.

* what does it taste like?
I found it tasted kind of like black licorice, which I hate lol...in my opinion it doesnt taste very good.

* is it really legal???
I think its been outlawed in Louisianna and New York but im not 100% sure on that.

Thank you! That's it, I got it... 6X extract! I'm gonna do it as soon as I get in the right state of mind. It looks different from what I thought, like little bits of herb or something, and it smells like Patchouli.. how much should I use the first time? How do I measure/divide it?

 

um you need about 2-3 hits,so just eye ball it around .2-.3 grams

 

^^^all depends on the person man, i took one hit and was instantly unable to take any more...personally i would start with 1/8th of a gram to be safe

 

Yeah but how can you tell it's 1/8th? That's what I meant... I don't wanna eye-ball the thing, what if I put too much?

 

well....it'll wear off if you put to much..you just might end up running out of the room like I did...totally weird shit

 

just break it up into eight equal parts,its realy wont matter if you put in to much,you wont die or suddenly freak out(well you can freak out on anydrug but thats beside the point) cause you put in .01 to much so dont worry about it,as long as you get alest one full hit it doesnt matter,if you want more hits next time put in a littile more dont worry just eye ball,salvia is a drug you can do this with if it was AMT or something i would say weight it out but realy its not a big deal.

 

tryed walking on salvia and it didnt work so good i ened up wobleing in place then falling on a bed

My boyfriend tried smoking a tiny little bit if it yesterday, to see if my bong still worked (cause the bowl broke and I fixed it with tape), and he got high... so it sounds like it's gonna be powerful with the normal dose!

Well... that's it! I did it... wow... I only started to feel normal again about 15 minutes ago, but it was pretty fucking intense!!!!

My boyfriend did it first... he had to have 2 hits (as turned out, I just filled the bowl without measuring or anything, I thought, whatever..), and he.. well, he'll tell you guys about his experience himself.. I was freaking out at first, cause I didn't know what to expect from myself, my heart was pounding before I finally lit it up (I used a regular lighter.. and a small bong with ice water.. worked fine!) I had a big hit, held it in for 25 seconds, and... just when I was thinking: "pffff it's not gonna do anything to me..", I let the bong go (my boyfriend, who was sober then, caught it), I was sitting on my bed and my head just hit the wall behind me (still hurts), just as my head was falling I went: "whoooaaaa" (lol I know, it sounds cliche) then I got a blank, for a few seconds, I can't remember what happened, but it seemed like I was just crowling all over the bed, screaming and laughing insanely, and my boyfriend was trying to put me into a comfortable, stable position. I ended up lying on my back, with my knees on my chest, and my arms wrapped around them. Then the visuals started: it was really weird, it's hard for me to describe, everything looked orange, an incredibly soft and soothing orange, and I felt like I was outside in the sun, lying in the middle of a street, I felt air in my face, and it felt good.. I saw like a tunnel above me, an orange tunnel that looked like it was made out of tires, thin ones like on a bike, all lined up and forming a spiral from my face to the ceiling, where there are colorful plastic stars.. for some reason, the 2 green ones seemed particularly atractive to me and I kept staring at them, going wow, wow.. and at the same time, I was laughing like crazy, and my boyfriend was trying to calm me down, and the most fucked-up thing was going on: my mouth was OUT OF CONTROL, I honestly couldn't shut the fuck up, and I kept telling my boyfriend to control my mouth, I was like: "control it, it's going out of control, it won't shut, it won't shut", like my mouth seemed to be independant of me, and it was, I guess, cause I couldn't shut up even though I had a strong desire to.. lol Then I tried to get up, but I couldn't walk, nor even move on the bed, but it seemed like I was under water for a minute, it felt good.. then I felt incredibly cold, I had to get under the covers, and I was just feeling really euphoric.. everything looked pink, my boyfriend's skin was pink, and getting red when he talked or moved his mouth to talk or smile or whatever. I started to calm down... I wasn't tripping anymore, I just started to feel stoned, dazed... and the effects went away little by little, until I was able to get up and go get something to eat in the kitchen downstairs.

That's it! Was really interesting and crazy.. I'll definitely do it again soon, and will try 10X and 20X..
