Russia Sentences Pussy Riot to Two Years

3yrs in a Russian prison. may as well be life.. Im not familiar with the correction industry there.

I had "free pussy riot" in my title for a little while. however I didnt follow the case to closely..

 

Its stupid fucked fucked up laws

This sentence is way over the top...But that goes without saying...These girls didn't hurt anyone or damage anything...Some parts of Russia are very reactionary and conservative...Just like the USA...I'm saddened.

For as much as I disagree and dislike the r.c. Church. Pussy Riots deserves a fucking longer sentence.
Does anyone see how disrespectful this act was?

Also as much of how the "church"is a dirty criminal institution. I think you dont do this disrespectful act. What if priests had been at their show pushing their propaganda religion on their fans?

In a certain way catholism is some peoples culture these hoodrats need to be smarter about pushing their message.

Yeah, I've been trying to follow this trial. Yet to hear exactly what they did? Are they true punks or publicity seekers? 3 yrs sucks. The judge is definitly playing politics. Pussy Riot was going to see a big pay day. Might still happen. They're famous.

 

Story I heard was they barged in on a church service...not really what I would consider a civil protest.
What do you think would have happened here if some punk band pulled some shit like that in America?
