Running from Police

Hi all, I was smoking weed in a car with a friend when the cops roll up. I take all my shit and get out of the car and run, leaving behind my friend to deal with the cops. He ended up getting busted for paraphernalia. I ended up escaping. I make it back to my house only to find that the police found my phone which i left in the car so they knew who i was. Given the ramifications of my situation, how much trouble am i in for running from the cops as a minor?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, you're a piece of shit for ditching your friend. IF you took EVERYTHING illegal, not just your shit, and put YOUR ass on the line, not his, that would be one thing...... but you fucked him.

There's simple things you could say/do to totally avoid any trouble, or at least minimize it. But I won't tell them to you.

Good chance you wil do jail time. A kid near my area ran from the cops without drugs involved and i mean he ran. Across a river in the winter and up a small mountain. The cop got introuble for his actions but the kid did 3 months. This is jail not prison though.

You only run from the cops when you are busting back...with no phone.

 

I can picture this whole scenario happening in my head... And it's quite funny.

Running is never a good idea. If you KNOW your fucked and i mean there is no way to talk your way out of it or hide your stuff then just fess up to it. In most states possession of less than an ounce by a minor is a misdemeanor where as running and evading or destroying evidence can be a felony.

 

Why not just tell them you must have left your phone in the car a couple days ago or something, they got no proof!!!
