So this morning i had a present that was a MASSIVE box, seriously you could fit a body or two in it, and the only thing inside was a rubiks cube...lol It was a joke on me and i mixed the cube on up. As ive been working on my computer issue i have been trying the thing and already almost threw it at the wall. Once mixed up....has anyone actually ever put it back to its original colors... I dont think ill ever get it back..... 40 years later and ill still have the fucker, with the same question from every person that walks in my room... Have you SOLVED IT? no..... is it possible?....?
I used to be able to do it in around 6 to 10 minutes.. I wouldnt even know where to start. Few years ago, I worked somewhere the person had a mini cube and when I walked past their desk I would play with it. I then bought them a larger one and let it as a gift.
I've only got three sides really trying, and four once on accident while watching Home Improvement and idly playing with it home sick from school when I was younger.
No, I can not solve it. But not so much time to try. My friend, Dmitry has a large complete collection. Keep trying!
I always wanted to superglue these things shut in the store just to save people from the mental anguish...... Probably would have saved several thousand lives by now if I had.
Actually, I've always wanted to try one, but never did. I want to try one now after seeing this thread.
the last time i tried i couldnt do more than one face of the cube... definitely not my strong point, but i cant say it was boring ... you know i tried , tried , tried, and couldnt solve more than one side... almost solving two sides ... then bam! 'ah i give up this shit ' 3 minutes later there i am trying to solve the little fucker again, haha
pop out one of the outside edge centre pieces and then slide the corners out and the disassemble it then reassemble in the correct positions its easy if you have trouble popping out a piece ..there is a hidden screw on one of the centre walls I think its the white one but getting to it usually results in sticker damage
Hello, I never had one. But there are algorithms available to solve the cube,if I remember correctly. Regards Gyro
I spent nearly 2 years of quiet days at work, I managed to get 5 sides over that time. Now I have a yo-yo for my quiet days, the cube went for a swim.
i've only tried once, and i did not even begin to figure out the trick to it. i think i got about 1 1/2 sides.
