rubik conundrum

hey can anyone remember when the rubik cube was released, what was the slogan that sold this great wonder to us????

my friend jase though went to a rubiks workshop at last years british juggling convention. he can now do it no matter how much you mess it up for him.

 

I remember when I was at School nearly everyone had a cube.

In 1980 I could do the cube in 5 minutes it now takes me about 5 days as I forgotten the moves but know the principles.

I recently had a 2 x 2 x 2 cube as well, which I could do easily but has now been broken and I can still do the Pyraimid.
