sorry, this is more about rolling your own cigarettes than rolling a joint, but i felt this was the best suited forum to ask the question. i recently started rolling my own cigarettes using american spirit organic tobacco, cheaper and supporting organic and not major cig corps. so anyway, im using the papers that they gave me with the tobacci, and ive been having difficulty keeping a rolled cigarette lit, it constantly goes out. i dont know if im putting too much, too little, rolling too tight or loose, or if theres too much paper, or just if the papers suck??? so yea, any tips from veteran rollers would help, thanks
It goes out because it has no additives to keep it burning like marlboros etc. do. I believe salt-petre or some other noxious chemical is added to keep cigs burning.
Heres what I do...I bought a 13 dollar machine at the local cigar shop which takes hollow cigarette tubes (200 for $3) and makes perfectly good cigarettes. They sell tobacco at about 3 dollars an ounce I think it turns out really nice. And yeah the tobacco is orgainc.
3 dollars an ounce? waht the hell? anyway yeh organic tobacco doesnt have burning chemicals, as said. Us smokers in here dont really have to care about it that much caus we dont hold cigarettes around much, we tend to prefer to smoke it before it burns itself away lol
It's one of the chemicals used to make gunpowder. It's also been used by the military. They put it in the food to keep the troops from getting horny!
