    Hey all!

I was just wondering if anyone had tried rhodiola root extract tablets? I heard they're meant to be good for treating mild to moderate depression, moodiness and fatigue. I want to try them and see for myself but they kinda expensive so i was wondering if anyone had already tried em and could tell me what they're like...?

    Peace and love.:)

Here is an excerpt from an article I found:

It sounds like it could be good for depression for sure. If you do use it try a small dose first give your body a chance to respond there is a caution about it in the article.

it is a stimulant, so be careful with this if you experience agitation or nervousness. Also, you should not take stimulating/adatogenic treatments for an extended period.

If I were to take something like this, I would save it for certain events. Day to day usage could create tolerance and with herbs the side effects profile tends to become quite pronounced as dosage increases.

Kava extract has quite a safe profile for treatment of depression and is exceptionally effective. It could be habit forming given a prolonged use.
