Resin.. (the black gunk)

I hear alot on this forum on how resin can't get people high. I figure the people who say this must've smoked resin a few times before to know this. well anyways here goes.

Today me and my buddy each took morphine patch's this morning.. well we were all out of weed. so we scraped my stem, and my bowl for my bong.. and got 6 little balls of resin. We smoked them all.. and got extremly baked. I don't know if its cause of the patch's mixing with it or what.. but anyways.. i've smoked resin before and it always gets me high.

is it possible for just some people not to get high from it ?

I see people like to speak for others. you can't get high from this.. you can't trip on MJ.

Well I ain't speakin for everyone but I do get high from resin, and I do trip on MJ occasionaly.

What are other peoples thoughts on resin. Yes I know this has been a topic probably tons before. seein how i've posted in them. but I just wanted to know is it possible for some people to get high from it and not others.. ?

 

You were on morphine...the small quantity of thc must have boosted it or somtn...

 

also with the type of weed you smoke would that matter with resin.. I figure so
Schwag weed = useless resin..

i've smoke resin before, didn't get me super blazed, but i was decently high.

 

well Resin + morphine patch's go good then lol.. Except later on when I was dry heaving out the window.. down the highway.. shit oh well

 

i don't think many people say resin won't get you high, but some people (myself included!) don't think smoking tar is worth the buzz.

 

not somethin I do often.. but once in awhile.. don't mind it

 

ha i just smoked the last of mine i takes alot to get you high but when your high it feels much stronger somtimes i dont know im stoned

Dude holy shit, I JUST got done smoking resin out of my glass bowl and i am soooo baked right now its crazy because i decided to check out the forums and i see this post...wierd shit man now its been like 10 min since i smoked that and again, im very blazed right now

when I'm totaly 100% out of pot, ill smoke the resin.

A week ago I was out, so I ended up gathering a lot of resin from 3 bowls (the bowl and the stem) from bongs as well as 2 pipe bowls, and I got totaly fucked up off of just the resin.

 

anyone who says resin wont get you high, has never tried it, or uses sucky weed so, inturn they get sucky resin

 

of course it gets you high...but its useless if you have some stuff to smoke.

 

u guys must be dumb... resin is the best(oddly the last resot) but will get you more high because it is mostly all thc, sometimes it even tastes better than weed.

 

Wrong,(oddly the last resort) because you must be desperate to smoke resins.You obviously have alot to learn.Resins will get you high but nothing close to actual buds because most of the psycho-active cannaboids have been spent from the initial burning of the buds.Resins may contain to a degree some of these but is mostly made up of non-psycho-active cannaboids hence the reason resin highs are not as intense or as long.

 

and it don't taste good, well not in my mind.

Thoa I don't smoke for the taste (thoa I like blueberry alot)
and I don't drink for the taste..
and I certainly don't eat mush for the taste

 

resin gives a really nice buzz. buzz is the best word for it. its stoned too.. but its less heavy more rough. anyway, it feels good. people who dont smoke resin have no reason really. all the hydrocarbons would have been reduced from their most combustive states, ash doesnt burn, it just heats up. when you smoke resin, the black shit goes white, because youre not burning it, youre heating it up and all the chemicals are leeching out. cept the hydrocarbons, they dont evapourate like the cannabinoids and other strange gasses dissolved in the resin

 

I like resin because it burns for years and somtimes when i have alot ill make little cubes and save em when im dry and then pop out a cube and throw it in the pipe. I'd Say it gives me more of a body buzz but hey thats just me

 

I was kindof comatoasted sittin there lol. thoa I think it was the mix of morphine and resin.. but yea usually don't give me such a huge high, thoa I do like it when im all out. Def not somethin I do if I got bud

 

Where do you come up with this shit,hydrocarbon is a organic compound (as acetylene or butane) containing only carbon and hydrogen and often occurring in petroleum, natural gas, coal, and bitumens(asphalt).Not at all related to cannabis or its by products.
