I wanted to buy it today, but it was almost 20 dollars at the store, so I'm in the market for buying the DVD online.

i didn't think it was that long ago. but i guess it was before men in black.
i know it was after dark crystal though. i just saw magical forrest or something like that, the one with furlings and a hazmat spill. a friend brought the vcr tape over. same friend who brought over ice age the previous visit.

mononoke hime was another good environment oriented animation.

ah but does anyone rember seing the ORIGEONAL fantasia when it first came out in the early 50s? kind of not the same subject i guess. but interesting.

The first Fern Gully came out in 1992. I was all of nine! LOL 14 years ago...

I haven't seen any of the movies you mentioned themnax (I mean, I have seen Men in Black and Dark Crystal, but not the others.)

Wow, it's been so long since I've seen that, but I remember having watched it constantly (Like all my movies in my childhood, haha). Man, it'd be cool to see it again...

Yes! My kids love Fern Gully too, and The Dark Crystal, The Last Unicorn, The Secret of Nimh...and they even like the original Fantasia better than the new one, as do I! [IMG]

    Its raining like magic
    Its falling like starlight
    Its raining like magic
    Its raining life

    The forest is breathing
    The ferns are rejoicing
    Its raining like magic
