Hey dude your along with me, but i'm 3 for 3. (all 3 have cheated on me). Thats why I said fuck the relationships and pretty much everything else. I know their has got to be someone out their that isn't a little fucktard, but who knows. As for now though, I give up with relationships and I am hoping that at some point in time both genre's grow up a little, and the chance of cheating declines from 100% down to maybe like 50%. Atleast theirs better chances that way, I know where your coming from though.

yes, sometimes relationships are bull crap. My last girlfriend cheated on me with my best friend...it hurts a lot..but when you think about it you don't need or want people like that.

But now, I'm in what I feel is a really good relationhship...really good.

okay, first I want to confirm that I think cheating is wrong and should never be done to anybody ever, it's hurtful and mean and just wrong....

but, with that said, if every one of your girlfriends cheats on you.... there may be something going on with you that needs to be looked at... maybe you pick the wrong girls... or maybe you need some work being a boyfriend...

you gotta have certain qualities to be a good boyfriend... healthy relationships are wonderful, it's the pain of ending them that sucks, IMHO.

I have to agree with you , it takes two to make it work. I was always a very selfish person when it came to girlfriends, they had a hard time because I always did whatever I felt like. If they said anything it was always the same answer, "you don't like it ?? then go find someone else".
I didn't wonder why they didn't stay for long, I wasn't really bothered.
It wasn't until 5 years ago that it all changed after meeting someone who I plan to spend many years with , she came into my life at a time when I had matured enough to realise that it was important to not only listen but take notice of what she wanted too.

The best thing for this point in our lives is to get as much ass as possible. Sometimes it takes a relationship to get it, but don't get sucked up into one unless you are ready to spend the rest of your life that way.

I'm not sure why they cheat on me. I guess I was just asking for it... I definatly meet the wrong type of girls, the ones who I always want to date would never go for me so I just stick to the low end ones just cuz I know I will be able to get with them. I think the problem is i just feel its all the better I can do. I dont know. ?

Just think of all of the people in the world. How do you even know that after a few relationships that's enough. I am in a wonderful relationship and all I can say is keep trying.

I just think you havent found the right person yet, and not everyone sucks. Maybe you've been going out with girls with similiar personalities or traits which done work for you.

And in regards to not going out with people coz u know it wont go anywhere, well thats a silly way to look at it.

You should think of it more as stages, like u cant tell me u didnt have fun at some stages in the relationship
theres no point in spoiling the fun thinking about what its going to be like 3 months later etc.

Think of it as a bit of fun!!!
not like a search, a laborious quest for love, jeez have fun with it!
and if it doesnt feel right, if you arent having fun, then maybe thats the time to leave, but dont let 2 or 3 people ruin your whole idea of relationships. there are billions of people out there, unfortunatly you went out with 3 crap ones, big deal, go out there are have fun!!!

    Love Amanda

I feel a lot like you do.
My first relationship lasted from 18 until about 20, 21 or so. No relationship I've had since then was a good enough match to last more than a few months, too. And it's been a while since I've been in anything like a love relationship. It's gotten to where I feel out of touch with how it feels. It's harder now to imagine them working. I have gotten to feel like it's really not possible for people to know each other really, and the best we can do is spend time with each other and try to enjoy that. But it's not realistic to think that we ever really know what someone's mind is. The best-communicating couple still each have secret thoughts that are kept to themselves. I know that's true because even though I am very open in a love relationship, there are things that are just for me to know. (I think that's perfectly fair; I think everyone has those thoughts and feelings. It doesn't mean you're not honest with your lover. You're entitled to have private thoughts.)

    Blue skies,

You sound like the very kind of person to go screwing around on someone who might care for you -- leading to people feeling just like the thread poster here.

"As much ass as possible" is the kind of philosophy that makes guys and girls act like total assholes, cheating and being inconsiderate of their partners. Time to grow up. "As much ass as possible" is for people who don't know how to value the total person -- the mind as well as the body -- and who are too shallow to have a real relationship.

    Blue skies,

hehe, right.. get too caught up in everything when you're actually in a relationship to see things clearly sometimes...
