We're running from Port Charlotte. If hurricane Ivan hits, he'll finish what Charley started. Our town will be gone. So we decided to take a vacation. Anyone in the Northern Georgia, Western North or Western South Carolina or near there got any suggestions where we should spend a few days? Somewhere we can party in peace. I've got my two teenage daughters and a friend of thiers with me. Thought we'd do some camping, maybe a night or two in a motel. Any ideas?
you may want to call ahead if you are planning on travelling through western nc in the next few days...there has been massive flooding from Francis, and many of the roads in the mountains are still closed. Asheville's water has been off for a couple of days, though that may be fixed by now....good luck
